Cobb Resource Center is open five days a week and is host to a wide variety of activities and programs for all ages.  Cobb Resource Center is surrounded by a playground, covered shelter and park.

Youth Programs

Summer Camp
Summer camp at Cobb will offer fun, field trips, sports, arts and crafts, swimming and so much more. Don't miss out on this summer adventure!
Dates: May 25-August 9, Monday-Friday
Ages: 5-12
Cost: $51 per week city residents / $59 per week non residents

After School Program

Days: M-F 2-6pm
Ages: 5-12
Cost: $30 per month city / $37 non city
A safe after-school environment that includes homework time, arts & crafts, organized games and a healthy snack. 

Summer Youth Basketball Training
This is a youth training league for girls and boys. The goal is to properly train all participating youth in the fundamentals of basketball.
Dates: May 1-August 4 Days: Tues, Thurs
Time: 4:30-6:30pm
Ages: 5-14
Cost: TBD

Youth Coach Pitch Baseball
Registration: 03/01- 03/15
Days: Tues, Thurs
Time: 4:00 – 6:00pm
Ages: 8 – 10
Cost: $40 city $50 non-city
Youth will compete in Westside Sports League after practicing and learning the rules of Coach Pitch baseball.

Youth T-Ball
Registration: 03/01 – 03/15
Days: Tues, Thurs
Time: 3:30 – 5:30pm
Ages: 5-7
Cost: $40 city or $50 non-city
Youth will learn the basics of hitting, fielding and sportsmanship

Senior Adult Programs

Seniors Program
Location: Multi-purpose room
Days: Monday – Friday
Times: 7:00am – 12:00pm
Age: 50+
Cost: $5/month
A social gathering for seniors who enjoy exercising, playing bingo, listening to oldies, taking shopping trips to Destin, eating at restaurants, going to casino or just chatting it up with other members of the group.

A healthy lunch for Seniors provided by Council on Aging. Must be registered.

Senior Exercise
Location: Gym
Days: Monday – Friday
Times: 9:30am – 10:00am
Ages: 50+
Cost: $0
A short but hearty exercise for Seniors usually led by a DVD but occasionally taught by a seasoned professional.

Vera's Healthy Juicing
Days: Mondays
Time: 10am
Ages: 50+
Ms. Vera shows how to prepare a healthy mix of vegetables or fruit blended into a
liquid mix of goodness.

Adult Programs

Weight Room

Our weight room is open to the public during normal operating hours.

Cost: $1 per day or $10 per month, Free for those over

50 years. Users ages 14-16 must be accompanied by an adult, no users under 14.

Open Gym

Days: Monday/Wednesday
Time: 6:00pm – 8:00pm
Ages: 16 and older
Cost: $1.00/ 18 and older
Pick-up basketball for those adults looking to get in a good game of basketball. Bring your 5 man squad or get placed on a squad. 10-minute running clock or 10 points, whichever
occurs first. Got game, bring it.
